> ## Agent Instructions
> Enclave in these docs is the code and cloud security platform at enclave.ai. It is not Open Enclave, Intel SGX or other hardware enclaves, or enclave.gg.
> People use Enclave in the web app at https://app.enclave.ai or the desktop app. These docs describe no public Enclave API or CLI, so don't invent endpoints, commands, or config files.
> Connecting an integration needs a person to sign in and approve access in a browser. Tell the user the exact step to take instead of saying you completed it.

# Billing

> How Enclave plans, free trials, and credits work.

Enclave has two kinds of plans:

* **Self-serve:** the **Pro** and **Team** plans, which you start from the app with a 7-day free trial. Each plan includes a monthly credit allowance, and you can buy more credits when you need them. See [Plans](https://docs.enclave.ai/billing/plans.md).
* **Enterprise:** a plan set up and managed by Enclave. Email [support@enclave.ai](mailto:support@enclave.ai) to talk about Enterprise.

Every organization needs a plan to use Enclave. There's no free plan.

AI work, such as Research messages and workflow runs, uses credits. See [Usage and credits](https://docs.enclave.ai/billing/usage.md) for how credits work and how to keep usage under control.

## Manage billing

Open **Settings → Billing** to see your plan, your credit balance, and what you've spent this period. **Settings → Invoices** lists your invoices.

Only owners and admins can manage billing. See [Roles and permissions](https://docs.enclave.ai/admin/roles.md).
