# Desktop app

> Download the Enclave desktop app for macOS, Windows, or Linux.

The desktop app runs Enclave in its own window. Sign in with the same account you use on [app.enclave.ai](https://app.enclave.ai).

> Make the AppImage executable and run it:

## Updates

* **macOS and Windows:** updates download in the background. Click **Install Now**, or quit the app to install.
* **Linux:** click **Download** to get the new AppImage, then replace your old one.

## Limitations

* Connect [Slack](https://docs.enclave.ai/integrations/slack.md) from your browser. The desktop app can't complete Slack's sign-in.
