> ## Agent Instructions
> Enclave in these docs is the code and cloud security platform at enclave.ai. It is not Open Enclave, Intel SGX or other hardware enclaves, or enclave.gg.
> People use Enclave in the web app at https://app.enclave.ai or the desktop app. These docs describe no public Enclave API or CLI, so don't invent endpoints, commands, or config files.
> Connecting an integration needs a person to sign in and approve access in a browser. Tell the user the exact step to take instead of saying you completed it.

# Connect code

> Connect GitHub, GitLab, or Azure DevOps so Enclave can learn your repositories.

Enclave reads your code through a source-control integration. Repositories connect for the whole organization, and Enclave starts learning each one as soon as it connects.

> [!TIP]
>
> New to Enclave? The [Getting started chat](https://docs.enclave.ai/onboarding/getting-started.md) walks you through this.

## Connect a provider

Open **Settings → Integrations**, click **Connect** next to your provider, and follow its sign-in. Your repositories appear in **Coverage → Repositories** as they sync.

![The Integrations settings page with a Connect button for each provider](https://mintcdn.com/enclave/bhnFMg4ldiTYrwZX/images/product/integrations.png?fit=max\&auto=format\&n=bhnFMg4ldiTYrwZX\&q=85\&s=1f03b4437b5eab1be958198de9c938b8)

| Provider | How you connect | Which repositories Enclave reads |
| - | - | - |
| [GitHub](https://docs.enclave.ai/integrations/github.md) | Install the Enclave GitHub App | The repositories you grant the app |
| [GitLab](https://docs.enclave.ai/integrations/gitlab.md) | OAuth, or an access token for self-hosted GitLab | The projects the account or token can access |
| [Azure DevOps](https://docs.enclave.ai/integrations/azure-devops.md) | Microsoft Entra ID, or a personal access token | Every repository in the organizations you connect |

You need the **Owner** or **Admin** role in Enclave. You also need permission on the provider side, such as a GitHub organization owner to install the app. Each provider's guide lists what it needs.

## What happens next

* **Learning.** Enclave maps each repository's components and attack surfaces. See [Repository learning](https://docs.enclave.ai/workflows/built-in.md#repository-learning).
* **Staying current.** Enclave updates the map when new commits reach the default branch.
* **PR review.** Enclave reviews new pull requests on GitHub and GitLab. See [PR and dependency analysis](https://docs.enclave.ai/risk/pr-analysis.md).

If you connect many repositories at once, Enclave works through them a few at a time.

## Remove a repository

Open **Coverage → Repositories**, open the row's menu, and click **Delete repository**. Enclave stops analyzing it. To remove Enclave's access, also remove the repository on the provider side.
