> ## Agent Instructions
> Enclave in these docs is the code and cloud security platform at enclave.ai. It is not Open Enclave, Intel SGX or other hardware enclaves, or enclave.gg.
> People use Enclave in the web app at https://app.enclave.ai or the desktop app. These docs describe no public Enclave API or CLI, so don't invent endpoints, commands, or config files.
> Connecting an integration needs a person to sign in and approve access in a browser. Tell the user the exact step to take instead of saying you completed it.

# Managing sessions

> Find, rename, and delete Research sessions.

Your sessions are in the sidebar.

* **Recents** lists the sessions you started, newest first.
* **Shared** lists Slack threads with Enclave that you joined.

## Find a session

Click **Search sessions** and type. Search matches titles and message text.

## Rename or delete

Open the session's menu in the sidebar and click **Rename** or **Delete**. Only the person who started a session can delete it, and deleting can't be undone.

## Long sessions

Enclave summarizes older messages automatically when a session gets long. A session keeps one conversation for its whole life, so to start over, start a new session.

## Sessions from Slack

Each Slack thread with **@Enclave** is a session. It appears in the sidebar with a Slack logo. See [Slack](https://docs.enclave.ai/integrations/slack.md).

> Sessions can't be shared by link or exported yet. To share a result, use the reply's **Copy** button.
