Connect GitHub so Enclave can read your repositories, review pull requests, and comment with verified findings. Works with GitHub.com.

Before you start

  • You need the Owner or Admin role in Enclave.
  • In GitHub, you must be able to install apps on the account: an organization owner, or a repository admin for the repositories you pick.
If you can’t install apps, GitHub sends a request to your organization owners instead. Enclave shows Installation requires admin approval until an owner approves the Enclave GitHub App.

Connect GitHub

1

Open integrations

Open Settings → Integrations in app.enclave.ai. Click Connect next to GitHub.
2

Install the Enclave GitHub App

Click Connect a GitHub organization or account. You’ll be redirected to GitHub to install the Enclave GitHub App on your account or organization. Choose All repositories or pick a specific subset.
The app requests read access to code, pull requests, and webhook events. Enclave never pushes commits and never reads repository secrets.
3

Confirm authorized repositories

Back in Enclave, the account appears under Connected organizations in Settings → Integrations → GitHub. Click it and open the Repositories tab to see the repositories Enclave can read. To change the list, click Manage to edit the installation on GitHub.
4

Choose which repositories get PR reviews

Automatic PR reviews are on by default for every GitHub repository. To turn them off for a repository, use its PR Reviews switch in Coverage → Repositories. See PR and dependency analysis.

Tips

  • Install on the whole organization. Repositories created later connect automatically.
  • Connect every repository in a system. Enclave finds cross-service issues only when it sees both sides.
